Our peak recruiting season is during the summer months when we have a large number of full-time jobs available. Occasionally positions may become available at other times of the year, such as before Chinese New Year (around December or January). To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise all applicants to apply during the peak recruiting season in June, July and August.
We have over 200 schools in Taiwan, and as we are a franchise company, each branch is responsible for its own recruitment. Although we do not have a department that is solely in charge of nationwide teacher recruitment, we can arrange for applications to be sent to branches that have vacancies. Most Kid Castle branch managers prefer applicants to be in Taiwan already, so that a face-to-face interview can be conducted.
If your application is approved, it will be distributed to the relevant language schools. After that, branch directors may contact you directly to set up an interview and teaching demonstration.
Following a successful interview, contracts are signed and the application procedure for the ARC begins. Keep in mind that it takes one week for a hospital to process the medical check, so try to complete the medical check as soon as possible. Passport photos will be requested for the health check and ARC application.
Please make sure you meet the criteria listed here and try to apply during the peak recruiting season. We also recommend browsing the branch locator and contacting the branches that are in your area directly.
If you wish to have an ARC with multiple schools; do get in contact, as we often have part time positions available.

- An attached résumé in PDF form.
- One or two pictures of yourself (do not insert the picture into the resume; please attach the photo separately). The photo does not need to be a passport photo or formal; happy and smiling is better! Ideally, the photo shows you working with children. Please resize large photos to avoid rejection from our server.
- A scan of the picture page in your passport. This is to confirm your nationality.
- A scan of your degree and any other relevant qualifications such as a TEFL certificate.
- A short cover letter. If you are already in Taiwan, please mention your location and your preferred hours. If you are not in Taiwan yet, please indicate your planned arrival date, where you intend to live, and your reasons for choosing to move to Taiwan.
- References from previous teaching jobs if you have them.
